Artist Statement
My practice resides in experience art and installation, with a specific emphasis on handcrafted and physical forms. Through a dedicated process of manual making, tangible materials and sensory details become tools for navigating complex emotions, experiences, and personal reflections. Rather than treating objects as mere symbols, the work explores how presence, weight, and texture can communicate with a quiet, direct immediacy.
Often emerging from everyday social conditions, these installations approach societal issues through an open and accessible lens, consciously avoiding the didactic. The strategic arrangement of objects, sound, and space serves to build an emotional bridge with the audience, inviting viewers to engage at their own pace and through their own bodily responses.
Central to the work is an acute awareness of how individuals move, pause, and react within a spatial environment. Distance, touch, and atmosphere are essential elements in shaping the encounter. Through deliberate physical making and spatial decisions, situations are created where feeling precedes interpretation, allowing reflection to unfold slowly and naturally.
